Beacon was born from the idea that the universe outside us and the one within us are not separate; they speak the same language of light and mystery. The story is a reflection on how connection, empathy, and imagination can bridge those realms.
Rachel Knox has a mixed heritage of English, Chinese, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish. She was born in Lancashire, but has spent most of her life living in North Wales and Scotland. She loves books, pyramids, stone circles, mountains and forests, cities and libraries, board games, and all things metaphysical and cosy. She now lives in Birmingham, UK.
