Michael Johnstone served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 2010, including overseas assignments, combat deployments, and leadership positions around the world. During his career he attended Special Forces Assessment and Selection at Camp Mackall, graduated from Ranger School in 1994, earned Jumpmaster wings, and received numerous military awards and decorations.
