Mike McCartney is a Cape-based author and storyteller. Originally hailing from the shores of Harveys Lake, nestled in the foothills of the Endless Mountains, Mike was educated at Moravian College (now University), Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English, and The Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Oxford. For many years, Mike taught gifted and talented students underneath the Northern Lights before relocating to Cape Cod. Here, Mike is actively involved in the arts community, particularly at the Academy Playhouse in Orleans. He and his family live in Yarmouth.
