He became Poet of the Year & was awarded the Shakespeare Trophy of Excellence and Poet of the Year’s Medallion.
He teaches Ge’ez, Amharic, and English through YouTube, WhatsApp, Zoom, and live lectures worldwide; Speak 5 language. Melaku serves with the American Red Cross as a Biomedical Collections Specialist, OJI, and Drive Lead.
He is the author of more than a dozen published works that span poetry, theology, history, and language.
