Marcus Garvin is a retired U.S. Army Ranger and Purple Heart recipient with three combat deployments to Iraq. He holds a B.A. in Sociology, a B.A. in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan, and is completing a Master of Science in Law at Purdue Global. A former CPS investigator and Deputy Director of the North Oakland Transportation Authority, he is also a published iOS app developer and the author of Between the Rain Drops. He lives in Davison, Michigan with his fiancée Lauren and their daughters
