Over the past 20 years I have worked with many companies based in Silicon Valley that were expanding partnerships across Asia and Europe. In summarizing the key differences between BD, Sales and Marketing, I hope that it could help other company founders figure out how to conduct their own business development, or identify people who could help them in this specific function. I hope that this book will help demystify the practice and help future BDs focus their aspirations on a career that is most fulfilling for them.
