Brent Ray Taylor is a novelist and essayist whose work explores the ways place, memory, history, and faith shape ordinary lives. Born and raised in Oklahoma and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, his essays have appeared in Bartlesville Monthly Magazine and on his blog, Bespoke, at brenttaylorblog.com.
Brent grew up with family ties to the mining country of northeastern Oklahoma that inspired his novel Seven Hills. He lives in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with his wife, Karen.
