Bernadette Kelly has written many children’s books covering a wide range of subjects, but the closest to her heart are the books in which she gets to write about her lifelong love of horses. Her two series, Riding High (also known as Ridgeview Riding Club) and Pony Patch, have been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe. Bernadette lives in regional Australia with three horses and a kelpie dog. Bernadette’s many adventures, especially those on horseback, offer lots of opportunities for new stories—and that’s the way she likes it.
