K. Eastkott
K. Eastkott created the YA series “Seeking the Jewel Fish”—Through the Whirlpool, Twilight Crosser, Lake of Stone, and Behind the Worlds (forthcoming)—to build a non-Eurocentric world where dragons freely roam. It is an ocean world, where the magic is in the water and the wind. As Kevin Booth he began writing for the theatre, English language-learning plays like 100 Meters. He also writes LGBTQ+ fiction, sometimes humorous, often about Barcelona and its history, such as his novel, Celia’s Room. In the BCN Free Art guides, he describes the city’s art and architecture.
