AMANDA CONNOLLY is an award-winning journalist and the managing editor of politics and breaking news at GlobalNews.ca. Before that, she was a senior political reporter for Global News, covering federal politics for nearly a decade. She also previously worked for CBC Calgary as a reporter. Her work has focused on Canadian and international politics, most often around issues of foreign policy, national security and defence, and gender equality.
