Alfanso Petty is the author of The Prime Chronicles, a science fiction trilogy about first contact, consciousness, and what it costs to receive something instead of trying to control it. Book One, Mimas Prime: The Listening World, is available now, with The Receiving World and The Given World to follow. He publishes under his own imprint, Seventh Dawn Press, and lives in Peoria, Illinois, with his wife and daughter.
