Judy Shelton is a senior fellow at Independent Institute, former chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy, and former US director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She is the author of The Coming Soviet Crash (1989) and Money Meltdown (1994). Her opinion articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and The Hill.
