Taliesin J. De Launey
Taliesin J. De Launey was born in Lismore, Australia, the son of a Croatian–Aboriginal Australian mother (Wiradjuri tribe) and a Scottish-English father who left when he was one. Raised by his mother in a turbulent, criminal-connected household, he found refuge in the creative arts. De Launey has worked in the field of community service for over fifteen years, including the last seven in New York City, where he volunteered in high-risk communities, supporting anti-violence, addiction recovery, and literacy programs.
