Nancy Omar
Nancy Omar is an Egyptian-Canadian writer and trauma counsellor whose work explores identity, belonging, and healing across personal and cultural borders. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, she writes from lived experience and deep listening. Trained as a Registered Social Service Worker, Nancy works in the Violence Against Women sector, offering trauma-informed counselling and facilitating programs for women impacted by intimate partner violence. She is completing a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work at Laurentian University,
