I’ve always loved stories and games that grow tougher the further you go, perhaps shaped by Finnish sisu and the harsh northern landscape. My fascination with mythology deepened while hiking in Norway’s Jotunheimen, where I often thought of Loki, Thor, and Baldur.
That blend of nature, myth, and dark games inspired After Ragnarok, set in a grim world after the gods have fallen. Writing it became a journey of reflection and imagination. I hope readers find in it strength, loss, hope, and a glimpse of something darker within themselves.
