Sripada Subrahmanya Sastri is one of the prominent fiction writers of the 20th century (April 23, 1891 - February 25, 1961). He was extremely skillful at playing with language and using unique dialects to convey a meaning. 'Vadla Ginjalu' is a collection of 14 stories. The stories begin with dialogues straightaway. The reader may lag a bit to acquaint herself with the pace of the story. Once gripped by the story, the reader is pulled into those characters. The characters become one with the reader.
