Love is the most destructive force in physics. Two people find each other in a city already coming apart at the seams — a physicist, a restorer, and between them something that shouldn't be possible: a bond so structurally destabilizing it cracks the vacuum state of reality itself. Vienna is a recursive city folding back on its own architecture, time misbehaving at the edges, causality politely excusing itself. What they have is real. That's the problem.
