Synopsis
In the violent streets of Indianapolis, Indiana, two childhood friends—Money and Shine—rise from the desperation of poverty to become the leaders of the "Dodge City Boys" (DCB). By 1991, they have transformed from high school "knuckleheads" into calculating drug lords, operating a lucrative "trap house" on College Avenue that makes them rich and infamous.
While Money acts as the wise strategist, Shine’s heart has been hardened into a "frigid, cold, lifeless muscle" by a childhood spent watching his mother’s addiction. Their empire seems untouchable until a fateful night at a club called Cowboys brings them into the crosshairs of Cameron and Shorty, local stick-up men looking for a "come-up". A brutal confrontation at a park swimming pool leaves bodies rotting in the sun and a paper trail of bloody evidence that draws the attention of Detective Mike Spearman—a "no-good, backstabbing" cop with a talent for sniffing out drug dealers.
