Young lion prince Simba idolizes his father King Mufasa but is betrayed by his uncle Scar, who murders Mufasa and makes Simba believe he's responsible. Years later, Simba returns from exile to reclaim his throne, defeat Scar, and restore the devastated Pride Lands to their former glory as the rightful king.
