Elian leaves his village and journeys through forests, ruins, and valleys where whispers prey on sorrow and shadow-beasts hunt the flame. Guided by the spirit within the lantern, he learns that the fire lives only through remembrance. If he loses himself, the flame will die. Along the way he meets echoes of lost bearers and discovers that the dark is not just emptiness but a heart that beats and hungers.
