In the blighted Veilmar Wastes, what nourishes has learned to consume.
When a young nobleman begins wasting away despite eating full meals, four adventurers discover a horrifying truth: an ancient corruption has awakened. Once a sacred temple where bread was blessed and shared, the Black Sepulcher has become something monstrous—a place where dough breathes, hunger never ends, and faithful worshippers transform into crusted sentinels.
As the corruption spreads through Lamenthollow, druid Elara Thornheart must journey into the Sepulcher's heart. Within the Cradle of the First Loaf, she'll face a choice: resist the bread's communion and risk consumption, or open herself to its whispers and discover what it was before hunger twisted its purpose.
The bread will rise again. The question is what form it will take—and who will remain themselves when the last crumb falls.
