About this audiobook
Can a believer lose eternal life? The New Testament is full of passages that seem to say yes: warnings about falling away, being cut off, failing to endure, drawing back, and perishing. For many Christians, those verses turn assurance into anxiety. If even one of them means what they think it means, no believer can ever rest. In The Bible Only Works One Way, Terrel Bither takes these hard passages one at a time and proves that not even one of them cancels the promise of Christ. Working straight from the King James text, he holds the lines that Scripture itself draws. The free gift of eternal life is not the same as reward for service. A believer's standing is not the same as his walk. The Father's chastening of a son is not the same as a sinner's condemnation. The warnings are real, and they are severe. But they warn about wasted lives, broken fellowship, and lost reward. They are not about losing the salvation that Christ secured.
