The exit from the Wastes appeared without warning as a simple wooden door standing alone in the middle of a void space where reality had completely dissolved. Keira opened the door and stepped through into Jotunheim, the realm of giants, and immediately had to dive for cover as a boulder the size of a house sailed over her head thrown by something that she could not see but that was clearly enormous.
