King Christopher is a ruler forged of iron and conviction. Believing magic murdered his parents, he has declared it high treason, hunting down every practitioner in Eldoria. Sarah is dragged from the Whispering Woods in chains, expecting execution. Instead, she becomes the King’s collateral. To ensure her obedience, Christopher binds them with an ancient magical tether - an invisible chain that shrinks day by day, forcing the hunter and his prey into suffocating, inescapable proximity. As they traverse the blighted lands, the distance between them vanishes, and so does the hatred.
