Marvin the magnificent does not make an ordinary man. His stage magic tricks fall through, his cape slips him at least once a week and his neighbors talk about his bizarre ways.
However, once the sandwiches start disappearing, the socks disappearing without leaving anything, the slight scent of mustard fills the air, Marvin realizes that it is time to make something of himself.
Accompanied by his sister (Tamika) and carefree Grandma, Marvin goes out to get the elusive thief. This is then succeeded by a series of laugh out loud moments of misunderstandings, dramatic speeches, jars of mustard which blow up and one rather surprising revelation, that this is not a human being after all.
