When big-city photographer Ivy Brooks returns to Snowball Falls, she expects a few awkward reunions, some festive charm, and maybe a decent cup of cocoa. She does not expect to get roped into the Twelve Dates of Christmas with Noah Bennett. Ten years ago, he broke her heart. Now the town vet is wearing flannel, saving kittens, and smiling like he never stopped waiting.
Each holiday date pushes them closer, to cookie catastrophes, snowball fights, mistletoe mayhem, and the kind of honesty Ivy's spent years avoiding. She knows better than to fall for the boy who once let her go… but this isn’t the boy she left behind.
Now they’re judging cocoa contests, dodging flying marshmallows, and getting stuck under suspiciously placed mistletoe. Each date pulls them a little closer, back through old memories and unspoken regrets, until Ivy starts to wonder if maybe the past isn’t quite finished with them after all.
