Summary
Martha Rose, a caring governess passionate about literature, has always supported young Oscar, the Duke of Cornwall's son, and his friends, Vera and Silas, despite the Duke's objections. When the Duke's cousin, Harry Wald, a notorious book collector and rake, visits, he searches the Duke's library and town bookstores for rare books.
