During my own hospitalization, I experienced severe pain and the possibility of major surgery. Yet I discovered how precious it was to know that I belonged to my Father and could trust Him with an outcome I could not control.
That confidence had grown through years of learning to live from Christ. In these pages, we'll consider together the Father's loving care, the compassion of Jesus Christ, and the faithful ministry of the Holy Spirit, especially when pain, exhaustion, or uncertainty make ordinary life difficult.
I cannot promise what tomorrow will bring. But I hope this book will help you know more fully the Father to whom you belong and the life that is already yours in His Son.
