About this audiobook
Our life experience begins as an inescapable fascination with the marvelous physical body to which we are seamlessly attached. This body enables our access to a variety of trinkets that exist around us displayed in an alluring matrix of sensory diverse opposite pairs that we generalize into the higher conscious understanding of pleasure and pain. We think we see the promise of great happiness in a balance of the opposite pairs, but try as we might, we just cannot find that special combination that gives us the lasting sense of contentment that we so desperately seek. We are foolish to believe that a lasting happiness can be derived from these sensory perceptions. This happiness that we so disparately seek can only be found in the elusive and hard to find singularity of conscious awareness lurking inside us. It is only at this core of the human conscious experience that this concept of happiness even has any meaning.
