Summary

He's made his choice. It’s her. Not that his father will ever allow the match. Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam has always known his father would try to force him into a marriage of convenience, and he has tried to make his peace with it. However, after Kitty Bennet captures his heart, he realizes his only chance at happiness lies in making a very inconvenient, if not impossible, choice. While the colonel attempts to find his way around his father’s maneuverings, Kitty takes up a plan to do what she can to help the man she loves find his happiness. Blessedly, this plan brings her into Richard’s path and sets them on their way to a possible future together.
