After stabilizing the theater’s glowing orb, Jace and Lena finally reunite with Evelyn, who reveals she cannot fully leave because the theater still binds her. She explains the theater isn’t evil—it tests and preserves those who face their past. Having passed its trial, Jace and Lena are allowed to leave. They ascend back to the city, forever changed by what they experienced. While Evelyn remains connected to the theater, she promises to watch and guide.
