A team of scientists creates a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, dubbed Arcanum , programmed to solve philosophical and religious problems that have faced humanity for centuries. When Arcanum , on its own, begins to ask questions about the existence of God, the scientists are intrigued but also fearful. With implications for all of humanity, the team debates whether Arcanum is an existential threat or a bridge to ultimate truth.
