This story follows Abeni a young woman who enters an evil forest to save her missing mother. The forest feeds on fear memory and abandonment taking names and souls as payment. Abeni sacrifices her identity to rescue her mother then returns to face the forest again. By refusing fear and reclaiming her name she breaks the forest power. The village learns that cruelty and rejection created the evil. The forest becomes quiet once more and Abeni emerges changed but whole proving courage love and memory can end even ancient darkness.
