Ade grows up near an abandoned building everyone calls the sad house. After finding an old letter, she begins dreaming of the house calling her name. She enters and sees disturbing signs of a forgotten past, then flees. Her grandmother reveals the truth: Sade became pregnant at sixteen, secretly inside the sad house, and the baby was taken by the child’s father. A healer helped erase Sade’s memories. Together they return, where the house mimics the child’s voice and demands payment. Sade breaks its hold by confessing the truth and choosing a name, then vows to find her son.
