Elisabetta Farris nasce a Ozieri, in Sardegna. A 15 anni inizia lo studio del canto lirico trasferendosi poi a Roma per studiare sia in conservatorio che all’università presso la Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dove terminerà gli studi rispettivamente nel 2006 e nel 2007. Inizia un’intensa attività concertistica e operistica che la porterà a viaggiare per il mondo. Contemporaneamente, continua lo studio delle lettere laureandosi in Linguistica Moderna e affrontando una tesi sugli stereotipi di genere nella scuola primaria da un punto di vista linguistico e sociale. Segue la pubblicazione del suo primo libro “Poesia e musica: dagli anni settanta ad oggi in Italia” dove affronta il rapporto tra la musicalità intesa come fruibilità in senso estetico e la relazione tra gli infiniti rapporti che le note musicali possono creare in un periodo di grandi trasformazioni e sperimentazioni. Insegnante di canto lirico, ha da poco intrapreso lo studio del doppiaggio perché incuriosita dalle infinite possibilità della voce umana. Si sta specializzando nello studio della voce caratterizzata. Lavora attualmente in un liceo artistico nel nord Italia ed è lì che scopre la sua propensione alla poesia. Partecipa nel 2023 alla XI edizione del concorso di poesia “Premio internazionale Alda Merini” distinguendosi tra i vari partecipanti e ottenendo la grande medaglia a riconoscimento della poesia “La madre”. Seguono una prossima pubblicazione con la Aletti Editore con la poesia “Amore” nell’antologia “Tra un fiore colto e l’altro” ed è di prossima pubblicazione 1° volume dell’opera “Voci poetiche del XXI secolo” dizionario critico, a cura dell’Accademia dei Bronzi. Elisabetta Farris was born in Ozieri, Sardinia. When she was 15, she started studying opera singing and then she moved to Rome to study both at the music school and at university, in the department of Letters and Philosophy. She ended her studies in 2006 and 2007, respectively. She starts an intense concert and opera career, travelling around the globe. In the meantime, she kept studying and graduated in Modern Linguistic with a dissertation about gender stereotypes in primary school from a linguistic and social perspective. She has then published her first book Poesia e musica: dagli anni settanta ad oggi in Italia (Poetry and music: from the 70s to this day in Italy), where she deals with the relationship between musicality, as accessibility with an esthetical meaning, and the endless connections that musical notes can create in a period of great transformations and experiments. She teaches opera singing and has recently started studying dubbing, fascinated by the endless possibilities of the human voice. She is specialising in characterised voice. She is currently working in an artistic high school in the North of Italy, and there she has found her inclination to poetry. In 2023, she participated to the 11th edition of the poetry contest Premio internazionale Alda Merini (Alda Merini international prize), standing out among other participants, and winning the medal for the poem La madre (The mother). It follows a publication with the publisher Aletti Editore, the poem Amore (Love) in the collection Tra un fiore colto e l’altro donato (Between one picked flower and another donated), and it will soon be published the first book of Voci poetiche del XXI secolo (Poetical voices of the 21st century), a critical dictionary, by the Accademia dei Bronzi.
