Leo, a data-correction drone in a hyper-efficient America, receives his mandatory Recall Notice at thirty-five. With seventy-two hours until "processing," he’s just a statistic awaiting replacement. But with the help of an eccentric old technician, he briefly glitches the system and escapes on a stolen, gas-guzzling motorcycle from a forgotten past. Pursued by silent drones, he races toward a penciled-in dream on an old map, discovering that in a world designed to make him obsolete, the messy, defiant, and gloriously inefficient act of running is what makes him human.
