Éléonore Khorsand est une figure singulière de la science-fiction francophone. Née à Téhéran, élevée à Lyon, elle mêle la poésie persane à une vision technologique radicale. Après des études en astrophysique et une carrière d'ingénieure en biomimétisme, elle se tourne vers l'écriture pour explorer le « déclin fertile » des civilisations.
Ses récits « bio-futuristes », empreints d'une mélancolie profonde, interrogent le rapport entre l'humanité, l'IA et l'environnement. Civilisations Effacées est une méditation sur la mémoire collective face à la ruine.
