Summary
In Ashes of the Clockmaker by Bukas Emekus, Elias Wren, an aging clockmaker in Greyhaven, faces the decline of his craft and the haunting silence of his workshop after his wife’s death. When his greatest creation breaks at midnight, he encounters a mysterious stranger and is pulled into the Hour Between Seconds, where he confronts his grief and obsession with controlling time. Through repairing a magical pocket watch and revisiting the past, Elias learns to listen to time rather than fight it. In the end, he lets go of his sorrow, embraces the present, and finds peace as the broken clock turns to golden ash.Book information
