Lena returns home after receiving a cryptic message from her mother following her brother Angel’s long ago disappearance. She discovers a terrifying truth: her dead twin sister Elena exists in a space between worlds, and a mysterious entity has been taking children who are spiritually linked to lost twins in order to live. Angel was taken into that realm and kept there. Lena enters the other side, finds him, and learns the being needs a human anchor. Choosing sacrifice, Lena takes Elena’s place at the doorway between worlds, freeing Angel to return home, while she remains behind forever, protecting both sides.
