About this audiobook
In the book The Interceding Christian, author Kenneth E. Hagin explores the biblical foundations and practical applications of intercessory prayer. He emphasizes that believers should prioritize praying for government leaders and those in authority to ensure a peaceful environment for spreading the Gospel. The text details how to combat spiritual strongholds and invisible demonic influences that affect earthly circumstances through persistent, faith-filled petitioning. A significant portion of the work is dedicated to the role of the Holy Spirit, explaining how "groanings" and praying in tongues allow the Spirit to help believers pray beyond their limited human understanding. Hagin also introduces the concept of spiritual travail, comparing deep intercession to the birth process necessary for bringing new converts to Christ. Ultimately, the source serves as a guide for using spiritual weapons to effect change in individuals, churches, and entire nations.
