About this audiobook
By Vernon Snell | Poetic Cinema
What if the flowers were never the problem, but the soil in which they were forced to grow?
The Flowers Were Never the Problem is a powerful poetic and philosophical allegory exploring humanity, survival, identity, and the invisible forces that shape our existence.
Through a symbolic world of flowers, roots, shadows, powders, and markets, Vernon Snell examines how environments influence generations, how innocence becomes entangled in systems of power, and how society often blames the very lives it has helped shape.
Rooted in the experiences and observations of Washington Heights, this unconventional literary journey blends social commentary, psychological reflection, historical memory, and poetic storytelling.
This is not a traditional novel. It is Poetic Cinema—literature designed to create moving images in the reader's imagination, inviting audiences to listen, question, visualize, and interpret.
