About this audiobook

One More Year is Book 1 in the Pedro the Water Dog Saves the Planet series, a novella-length, eco adventure bursting with irreverence, heart, and hope. “One more year—keep your stuff longer, people!” That’s Tilly’s mantra as she trains for her first Ironman with her best-friend-turned-coach, the inked and unfiltered Camas. Set in the stunning northwest town of Sandglass, nestled on a glacier-carved lake, Tilly sets out to prove that one person can make a difference. Her mission: complete an Ironman to raise awareness about overconsumption and inspire her town to slow down their buying habits. Tilly can swim like a dolphin and run like the wind—but she’s never cycled. To conquer her biggest hurdle, she turns to a grumpy former triathlete, a crew of wild mountain bikers, a salty old pirate, and her loyal water dog, Pedro. Together, they form an unlikely team determined to help Tilly succeed—and maybe even save Sandglass from the looming threat of illegal timber clearcutting.
