About this audiobook
Nostra Damus - "We Give"
The Prophecies of the Third Millennium is a modern reimagining of Nostradamus, written now and looking forward to the year 3000.
Taking the original 1555 form as its model, it opens with a Preface — A Letter to Life and to Knowledge — and continues through four Centuries of 100 quatrains each, with a short Decryption Log beneath every quatrain, explaining in plainer language what the image may point to. It closes with an Epistle to the Future, Year 4000, and Almanacs for key years of the fourth millennium.
This is not a book of predictions to be believed or feared. It is a discipline: take the present seriously, follow its pressures — heat, water, energy, language, bodies, distance — far enough that they become strange, and ask what a civilisation would have to learn in order to endure its own cleverness.
