About this audiobook

The protagonist of this story is a scientist specialising in theoretical and applied physics, including quantum physics, who fears abduction by a foreign intelligence service intent on gaining exclusive access to his most recent and remarkable discoveries, not necessarily for peaceful ends or genuine progress. He withdraws from the world and takes refuge in a secluded hideout, protected by highly advanced technologies of his own making - inventions that push at the very boundaries of space and time. Yet he soon discovers that his creations are already reflected in the smallest details of everyday life - and that our worst enemies are sometimes those we would never suspect.
