Write Your Own Damn Story is part memoir, part battle plan from a woman who failed English multiple times, lost everything in foreclosure, and rebuilt from zero to own multiple publications and businesses. Dee Yates turned a $600 camera into a photography empire, bought and ran HERLIFE Magazine, acquired the Legacy Publication, Ropers Sports News, and published Cowgirl Culture, California—all without a degree or anyone's permission. Every chapter delivers a hard-earned lesson and a challenge that pushes readers to act. This isn't business theory from a classroom. It's what actually works, from someone who actually did it. Raw, real, and sometimes profane, this book is for women entrepreneurs, creatives, and anyone who's been told they're not qualified to chase their dreams. Fair warning: there will be grammatical errors. There will not be excuses.
