Enriched Edition. A New Thought Classic on Inner Mastery, Faith, Positive Thinking, and Spiritual Self-DisciplineBy Henry Thomas Hamblin

About this audiobook
Within You is the Power is a concise work of early twentieth-century practical mysticism, presenting the mind and spirit as instruments through which adversity may be transformed into strength, serenity, and purposeful action. Written in a clear, exhortative prose, the book blends Christian-inflected spirituality, New Thought optimism, and moral self-discipline. Its chapters move from inner mastery and right thinking to faith, service, and the conquest of fear, situating it within the wider literature of self-culture that sought to reconcile metaphysical belief with everyday conduct. Henry Thomas Hamblin was an English mystic, editor, and founder of The Science of Thought Review, whose life was shaped by personal hardship, spiritual inquiry, and a conviction that character could be remade through inward alignment with divine law. His writings reflect both the devotional seriousness of a religious thinker and the practical temperament of a teacher addressing ordinary readers facing anxiety, poverty, illness, and discouragement. This book is recommended to readers interested in the origins of modern self-help, affirmative thought, and spiritual psychology. Though written in a period style, its central message remains compelling: lasting power is not imposed from without, but awakened through disciplined thought, faith, and moral courage.
