The Whispering Throne is a dark alternate-history supernatural thriller. In 1545 Poland, a monk carves a cursed throne for Pope Paul III. Devils attack; a dying anti-cardinal curses it to show two 24-hour futures. It's unearthed by Nazis in 1939.
Göring sits on the throne and gains prophetic visions, becoming the Reich’s “Seer.” He uses it to win key victories despite growing pain.
Parallel story: the tiny Shadow Cell resistance in Berlin smuggles plans to the Trinity alliance. They remain hidden because the Seers never ask about internal threats. The throne spreads black scars and roots; the cell weakens it through faith and quiet defiance.
1945, victorious Reich survivor, Fredrich Mann, witnesses Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s execution in visions. Mann realizes the throne was born of fear and feeds on terror/control, while faith and choice oppose it. As it weakens, they flee to America to fight the emerging New German Empire under Hitler’s heir Urian.
The throne weakens, Urian strengthens.
