About this audiobook
"The Prisoner of Zenda" is an adventure novel set in the fictional European country of Ruritania. The story revolves around an English tourist, Rudolf Rassendyll, who looks remarkably similar to Ruritania's king. When the king is drugged and unable to attend his coronation, Rassendyll has to impersonate him to prevent a coup by the king's evil half-brother, Black Michael. During this impersonation, Rassendyll has to deal with attempts on his life, intrigue, and a love triangle involving the king's fiancee. The story culminates in a rescue mission to save the real king, held prisoner in the castle of Zenda.
