The Neighbour at Number 18 (Stand by me) - This book was written at a time. I was in my lowest and compromising state of mind. It narrates the life of women in London at a given time. Their worries and challenges in terms of relationships and motherhood. There is a section of sexual outbust, That period, I was denied my rights as married woman and was not stable, I also narrated the effect sof abuse in later years and how younger people can manipulate a situation for their own advantage as it happened with the Neighbour who had an affair withe the husband of Maria. She nearly broke their beautiful marriage. The story is narrated in a way that portrays the reality of life. To admit, I never went back to read it because it interpreted my mood at a point in time and i did not want to change that. Age restriction is required. Happy reading.
