About this audiobook
Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (22 May 1859 – 7 July 1930) was a Scottish writer and physician, most noted for his fictional stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes, which are generally considered milestones in the field of crime fiction. "The Great Shadow", also known as "The Great Shadow and other Napoleonic Tales", is an Action & Adventure novel published by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1892. Instead of Sherlock Holmes being the main character, the story follows Jack Colder, who claims his only notable childhood experience was when he accidentally prevented a burglary during an attempt to escape a boarding school. This event caught Jim Horscroft and the two become friends. (Excerpt from Wikipedia)
